The valleys, the plains, the plateaus, even the deserts in our lives are all good in their own ways, for their own time. We never stay in one place forever, but some seasons seem to be endless and stretch us to the farthest extension of our endurance. But God is a good Father. He never gives us more than we can handle. Sometimes that means we only survive because of his grace covering us or we have to let him carry our burden for us. Without fail though, the rains will come. There will be peaceful mountain tops where our souls are revived. And we will look back and see the growth, and the change, and his evident hand in our every moment.
