Start Anywhere

I am writing because I need to. I haven't had time to think of a great subject. Or write a first draft. Or edit and rewrite. But sometimes, I just need to write for the sake of writing. I have needed to for a long time. It's been a long season, that didn't have much room for an outward flow of thought. I was just doing what I needed to, to get through each day with my head, and all my children's limbs still intact. That pretty much used every resource and minute I had available. But I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There may be a place for thought, and creativity and expression once more. For awhile there, it seemed like too much to hope for. I didn't want to wait any longer for the perfect moment to arrive. It might have been another year or two... So I am just writing to write. Because finally, I can.
